The company was founded with the mission to develop and produce new, innovative high frequency products for the high volume markets of the
communication, automation and automotive industry. Actually the products
are in different stages - some are in production (linearizer, LMDS), some are at the end of the development phase with intended production in 2003 (proximity sensor, pneumatic sensor, ACC) and others are just in development with intended production in 2004/2005 (automotive radars, keyless entry/go). For all products, development and/or serial production contracts were signed with international operating companies in the relevant market segment.
For most of the products, fundamental patents (PCT, USA, J) are already granted.
ASTYX was 6/2000 honored by the Bavarian Prime Minister as one of the most innovative companies in Bavaria.
