ASTYX concentrates on the design and production of planar Micro- and Millimeter Wave products. We have the experience for the design of integrated Microwave circuitry, the micro assembly of MM-Wave hybrids and the radar and microwave specific digital signal processing. We have applied these skills to help our customers develop leading products in the fields of communication and sensor systems for automation and automotive industry

 (3) The PSO1 Pneumatic Sensor from Astyx Communications & Sensors Inc., pneumatic/hydraulic device, detects the position of a piston in a cylinder with an accuracy of +/-10 microns. It works by coupling microwaves of different frequencies, with the cylinder acting as the waveguide. According to the judges, this is a very clever and amazingly accurate product.
